I scheduled an appointment for an oil change (waiting for the service) two weeks in advance for my elderly fathers vehicle and accompanied him on the visit. After 3 hours of waiting I went to look for the service associate that took in the vehicle who was no where to be found. I went to the service manager who said she would locate him. After another half hour of waiting he came into the waiting area to tell us there was oil all splashed all over the engine. He said they weren't sure if it was an oil leak but could clean it for additional $150.00 only then would be able to look for a leak. I told him we would have my brother in law look at the car who was the service foreman at Peabody BMW. After another hour they brought the car around. There was no leak and no oil all over the engine. On the follow up service call my father informed the caller about the 5 hour wait to change the oil and the splashed oil incident. The caller said he would investigate it and call back. Never heard from Ira again.
