Thank you for your interest in our LeaseWise service. We believe the service is, as scores of customers have told us, "the only way to lease a new car." It is the only service of its kind in the country. LeaseWise has no ties to specific dealers and gives each customer a choice of multiple bids secured under current market conditions.

By using LeaseWise, you will:

  • Make dealers bid for your business.
  • Be confident that you are getting the best deal. Not only do we solicit bids on the capitalized cost of your vehicle, we track over 50 lease plans to make sure you get the lowest cost plan available at each bidding dealer.
  • By-pass hassles and high-pressure sales tactics.
  • Avoid having to negotiate. With your LeaseWise report you can know the exact price and monthly payments before you ever contact the dealer*.
  • Be #1. LeaseWise accepts no money from dealers.
  • Have our nonprofit consumer organization with you throughout the purchase process.

LeaseWise is unique.
LeaseWise is a service of the nonprofit Consumers' CHECKBOOK. Our only customer is you. We have no pre-selected dealer network nor do we accept kickbacks or "bird dog" fees from dealers. We do not deal in vague, or made-up "suggested" or "target" prices. LeaseWise price quotes are competitively bid from dealerships near you and confirmed with the low bidding dealers. LeaseWise researchers contact each dealership by telephone and confirm all the elements of that dealership's bid on the complete lease package with management level staff. You receive all the bids. LeaseWise began its competitive bidding service in 1996 (and Consumers' CHECKBOOK magazine in 1974). We have fully developed and tested strategies to get you the best lease on your new car.

*excluding state regulated taxes, tags, and title fees.

The Car Book +Jack Gillis' The Car Book presents the latest safety ratings, dealer prices, fuel economy, insurance premiums, maintenance costs, tires, as well as a chart of state lemon laws and is available at The Center for Auto Safety. If you need to choose a vehicle prior to contacting CarBargains or LeaseWise, we recommend The Car Book.
