I paid to have them draw up a landscaping plan and to give me a quote to install it. I stated that I preferred native plants. I received a sketch and list of the plants that they suggested; all of the plants were named varietals rather than native plants. If they were unwilling or unable to provide native plants, I wish that they had told me that in the beginning. I never received the quote to install the design. I view it as an all but wasted design fee. I have shopped at their store and consulted them for recommendations on weed control and deer repellent. I was very pleased with the store's staff and would recommend it for material and supplies. I was grossly disappointed with their design and landscaping and would NOT recommend them for that.

Shame on me since I attempted to engage with Merrifield’s landscape designers twice and both times they failed to deliver the service. After multiple times of calling the company and asking for the designer to contact me I finally had to call another company.
