My home was built in 1975 and recently I replaced all my interior doors with six panel doors. I contacted Elstan Painting to receive an estimate on painting the doors. Elstan responded immediately and came out to my home to review the project and provide an estimate. He advised me that the doors would have to be removed from the hinges to have all the exterior edges primed, to avoid swelling with humidity changes. He provided a very reasonable estimate and was able to schedule the work within a couple of weeks. His two workers,Fernando and Ever, showed up promptly at 8AM to begin the job. They covered all the furniture in the rooms with plastic, laid tarps, taped where necessary and walked through what was to be done with me before they began the job. They removed all the doors from their hinges, removed doorknobs, sanded, primed and applied two coats of paint to each door. The job took two days and before they left in the evening they vacuumed and cleaned up after themselves. I can’t say enough about these two gentlemen, they did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

Very good painter, though I feel they are a bit overpriced. Owner no longer works the projects, just supervises.

Elstan recently completed a low pressure house and deck wash, deck staining and sealing for us. We are absolutely delighted with the job his crew did. Another company had told us our deck was too old and it was time to consider a solid stain (looks like paint). This made me sad as we love seeing the wood grain. Elstan told us we still could use a stain that would seal and show the wood grain, and told us our porch was still in good shape and didn’t need to be stained and sealed yet (who doesn’t love an honest contractor?). His price was very competitive for the work performed. He listened carefully to what we wanted, was easy to communicate with, and the work was completed in a timely manner. The two workers who did the job worked steadily, were respectful of our home and property, and left everything in immaculate shape at the end of each day and at the completion of the job. The deck came out beautifully and the stain and seal show the wood grain beautifully. I couldn’t be happier with how the job turned out. I will definitely be using them again for some interior work I have planned.
