Adam Carbary (Owner) was great to work with. In his initial visit, to give us an estimate, he clearly explained what he would need to do as far as running the necessary wires through my fireplace in order to hook up a flat screen TV. At the time, I had not purchased a TV, wall mount, or Blu-ray player. As a former sales manager in the retail stereo industry, Adam was very informative in terms of the kinds of TVs, wall mounts and Blu-ray players he would recommend. I had done some research prior to his visit and his recommendations were almost exactly aligned with the kind of equipment I wanted to purchase, so that was reassuring. He definitely knew his stuff. After I ordered the equipment, I arranged for Adam to do the entire installation. He and his assistant did a great job and I am very happy with the results. Adam arrived on time, eagerly went to work, did a very neat installation, and thoroughly cleaned up after he was done. I had priced out similar services at some of the more well-known retailers. Some were in the same ballpark, some were quite a bit higher, but none gave me the confidence that they would do the work properly and within budget. Adam's final charge was actually lower than his initial quote because he finished sooner than he expected. I appreciated this gesture. Not sure that I would have received the same consideration from one of the big retailers, but it is one of the reasons why I like to support small businesses. In my experience, they try just a little bit harder to make sure that the customer is happy with the end result.
