Mr. Ekanger charged over $700 to prepare a very simple return when he had estimated the cost would be $425. When pressed to provide a detailed accounting he listed charges for an assistant's review of prior year taxes for a date that his office had not received the prior year's return. When asked to explain discrepancy he stated that upon generation of his invoice his system, "deletes the individually billed actions."
