With caveats, I am satisfied with my implant. However, it took almost two years and about $9,000 to complete. Plus, recently the adjacent gum area got infected, and now I am worried about permanently losing that very expensive tooth. Also, I had purchased a "flap" at over $700 to cover the gap until the implant was ready to be completed, and it was worse than useless, as I was unable to close my mouth with it, never mind eat with it in place (and was told it couldn't be adjusted any further). That was a lot of money lost. I am taking my business to the BU Dental school and taking my chances there for far less money (and probably time), and from what I hear, very satisfactory results.
