Paid about $800 for “balancing dampers.” The estimate was provided in advance and was represented as a fixed price. The work was completed in one hour by two men. I feel like a victimized senior, but I’ve had no time to pursue this matter. FYI, helping to care for my terminally ill wife takes up a lot of my time.
