Designs homes without regard for existing compatibility with neighborhood aesthetics. In Palo Alto, CA, the company designed a huge 2 story Mediterranean stucco 'mansion' with a large front porch and columns in an intimate 20 neighbor cul-de-sac comprised entirely of Eichlers. Roger Kohler is the chairman of the Palo Alto Historic Resources Board (PA-HRB. A key objective from the PA-HRB, each member has "demonstrated interest in and knowledge of history, architecture or historic preservation". The secrecy and absurd proposed plans contradictory to the PA-HRB objective has brought about alienation to the intimate shared neighborhood circle, and proposes to irrevocably alter the historic landscape forever.
