Purchase couch. After three years springs broke loose from the frame. Promptly repaired springs.

Bring a measuring tape along. Thomasville loveseats, "chair & 1/2" and sofas are 10 to 15 percent narrower than indicated on the spec sheets, and sales personnel tend to argue that it doesn't matter because you can still sit on them.

On July 8, 2011 I special ordered a chair and ottoman through this store. I put 1/3 down and my receipt said that my purchase would be delivered to the store in 6 to 8 weeks, at which point they would notify me and I would have only 24 hours to pick up my purchase. Exactly 12 weeks after I placed the order, I called the store and asked for the associate who handled the purchase. Dorothy answered, and said that Jeanee was no longer employed by that store. I gave Dorothy the purchase information. She looked up the order and expressed surprise that it hadn't been shipped. It had apparently been done for some time and was sitting at the factory. She called the factory and arranged for it to be delivered to the store on the next truck, coming in two days. She tried to tell me that while it was 4 to 6 weeks late, that that was considered delivered on time. I pointed out to her that I had had to bring the order to their attention, and that had I not called, there is no telling when I would have received the chair, if ever. The store was not monitoring the order, had made no contact with me when it was 4 to 6 weeks late, and didn't notify me that the associate I had dealt with was no longer with the store. Jeanee had sent me her card and a thank you note. I had no idea that prompt delivery had been or would be an issue with the store. Had I known, I would have shopped elsewhere.
