Getting our custom invitations at ByHand was the best part of our wedding planning. The designer, Steve, listened to our ideas and came up with a three custom designs is that were exactly our style. He must do this for everyone because the invitations he had done for other clients ranged from simple to incredibly ornate, traditional to wild. Seeing them gave us a few new ideas which he was able to include in the final design. ByHand prices were better than any other custom designers we considered-- almost half of what a better-known downtown design firm was charging for a less complicated piece. He used high quality rag paper and the letterpress was high quality. We also ordered rehearsal dinner invitations that were conventionally printed. Even though that was only for 45 invitations and the profit margin must have been slim, the invitation received the same effort and attention to detail that went into the big job. The whole experience was a pleasure.
