We have used Kingstowne several times to clean hand-made oriental carpets from the Middle East. They pick them up from the house and deliver them back to the house when done. They make good recommendations for repairs. The prices seem very reasonable and the carpets are always in good shape at the end. Cleaning handmade carpets does require some expertise - it is not something you can do with a machine. We are very satisfied with Kingstowne's work.

My 9 X 11 wool rug was white when I bought it. That was 50 years ago, and it had only ever been vacuumed, which did not really deal with spills and mold. Steve gave me the price on the phone, picked it up, returned it, and stayed long enough to watch my face light up when I unrolled it and looked closely at front and back. The transformation was amazing. I knew without asking that the price he had set was WAY less than the value of the time and experience and skill to deal so successfully with multiple challenges. I was grateful that he was more professional than practical, doing the job riight without coming back to renegotiate. He declined to boost the price, but was gracious when I insisted on boosting the payment.

I highly recommend Kingstowne Carpet. Steve Miller was incredibly professional, forthcoming, and responsive. Pricing very reasonable. They picked up our living room rug promptly and returned it clean and in great shape. They also very kindly put it back in place including moving some furniture to position it correctly. Great communication on timing of pickup and delivery. Will be using again.
