Thomas personally inspected and used his magnet on a stick to collect nails. I found dozens of nails in the shrubs after he left. If you have shrubs near your house, you might want to put tarps over them to catch the hundreds of nails.

We just had a new roof installed by Mr. Johnson. It looks wonderful and was a great price, the cheapest of the seven bids I sought. Mr. Johnson is one of the most honest, pleasant, and professional tradesmen that I've encountered. His prices are incredibly good value for the quality of the work and the materials that he uses. We got upgraded 50 year shingles that are the highest rated ones in Consumer Reports for a price still well below the next highest bid. He supervised the work and the clean up himself. His crew were nice guys and very hard working. When any issues or problems arose, Mr. Johnson resolved them immediately and with a smile. He even installed new gutter guards for materials cost plus his labor, making them so much cheaper than the gutter guard companies. It is such a pleasure to do business with him. I recommend him enthusiastically to everyone as an honest person who provides high quality work at a great value.

We live in Derwood, so Thomas C Johnson Roofing is a local business for us. We've been using them for a while now, as our roof has aged and needed upkeep, and they've always had prompt, effective service at great prices. We recently decided to replace the cheap old roof we had and decided to go with Thomas C Johnson Roofing for the work. Their price quote was excellent, they used Consumer Reports' top rated architectural shingles (much higher quality than our former roof), and they did a great job--putting tarps around the house, cleaning up well, etc. They also addressed the extreme heat in our attic, pointing out that our former vents were dummy vents. They installed box vents along with a higher quality ridge vent, and we instantly saw a temperature improvement. This is one of the best contractors we've ever worked with. We couldn't recommend them more highly.
