Recommended only because the service technicians are excellent. I have used them for about 20 years and service has always been excellent. In last few years emphasis has been on upselling.

Tried to upsell me during the fall heating inspection for work that I didn't need. I have used the company's services for 30 years, and had no problems till the last couple of years but I will not use then again

Blue Dot was called to try to repair an AC (Carrier). They said it could not be repaired and sold a new total HVAC unit, but almost 2 weeks later it still was not working and not replaced UNTIL they were threatened with going to the Md. licensing board for HVAC. This was after several calls and a couple extra visits and after admitting the HVAC was defective. And it is JULY in DC with HOT weather.
