This woman makes her own decisions regarding the care of your animals. She blatantly lies about the times she comes and goes, apparantly unaware of neighbors and surveillance systems monitoring her coming and going. She is extremely strongly opinionated about how you care for your pet and will not hesitate to do what she wants instead of your vets reccomendation. She is overly friendly and enthusiastic, working very very hard [gifts for the pets, gifts for you, Christmas cards etc.] to get you to feel secure with her business and get to you think she views your animals as part of her “family”. My animals got sick because she ignored my instructions. She even brough different food than the prescription!! food they were given, "possibly" causing pancreatitis in one of my cats by feeding extremely rich high fat food instead of the prescription food, which led to a 700 dollar vet bill and a week of severe pain for my pal. I took her code out of my security system. Not happy that she still has my keys. It is expensive to change your locks for an entire home.

Harriet Goldman was our pet sitter for almost 16 years. The first 14 years were excellent. The last two were not, as she became increasingly irrational. She began second guessing our veterinarian's medications and instructions. She did not always give our animals necessary prescriptions while we were not there, based upon her personal opinions regardless of what the vet had instructed and we had requested. We would come back to find that she had rearranged some of our furniture and all the animal feeding areas. She damaged brand new wooden floors by moving furniture around roughly. If questioned, she got angry very fast. She panicked easily. Our vet suggested that we not leave our pets in her hands. We switched pet sitters. The service is a one woman shop run by Harriet Goldman. If you think this review is too problematic, let me know. I do think we should probably warn folks about Harriet, but perhaps she has since recovered her balance. Hard to know. I don't want to be sued however.
