My dog had 5-10 successful groomings there but the last time we were there he came home with a terrible eye ulcer (from shampoo in his eyes) that cost several hundred dollars to treat. In fairness, I didn't immediately see the injury and didn't confront Doreen or the groomer. When I got home, I saw my dog's eyes could barely open and looked bloody. Vet said my dog could have been blinded and might need surgery if he didn't respond to the meds. While my dog recovered, I never went there again. Accidents happen but I feel obliged to report this incident here.

My big dogs like going to Canine Design. They do not return to me "neurotic' because of the noise which has happened at other groomers. Delores (owner) greets the dogs and gives each one attention. We have a labradoodle and she has been our first dog that has been "groomed" and bathed....she came out of the salon happy as a lark.
