I needed railing for my front steps. One other company sent me a quote based on data provided but no details and never replied back. Another came to look but never came back. City Ornamental Iron came out, took measurements and provided possible solutions - I didn't want a plain and simple railing. Orin McCrae had a catalog of possibilities (I now have bunches of grapes running down the railings). He returned the estimate quickly (and well below the one who gave only $$ price). He then invited us out to his plant to view to preliminary product and within days had it installed. I love my railings. They could not be attached to the wall (only on the steps) due to the configuration of my house. They are totally sturdy and I am totally happy with the result. Great people to work with. They are now located in Landover, MD but the phone number is the same.
