Can do the mechanics of plugging info in to complete a basic tax return, but if anything complex, or a business, terrible service. I found out the hard way that he does not keep abreast of tax law changes, and hence he did not process credits and deductions that would save me huge amounts. Once I had another accountant review the past few years of returns Meltzer had done, I was shocked at his errors and failures. When I had previously asked Meltzer questions, he was belligerent and berated me for daring to challenge him. Very sad experience.
