We used Eli's for years until they made the business decision to stop serving our section of NW DC - very reliable, dealt with emergencies promptly over the years although it did take some rounds of callbacks to get them out for our last emergency. I was sad to have to find a new firm! Had a good initial estimate conversation with Ron about changing over to a heat pump system from forced air gas furnace but we weren't yet ready at that point. He was keen on gas backup and we're looking to move off of gas, but I think we would have some to a solution. Overall they were great.

Eli's provided me with three options for a Bryant varietal speed heat pump and gas furnace back-up. and provided detailed explanations of each. (The bid's from Eli's were lower than bids from two other companies (for the same Byrant products). Eli's installed the units in about 6 hours, and Ron provided terrific (on-call) follow-up. When the trigger for switching between the heat pump and gas furnace was not working correctly (due to a software issue), Ron contacted Bryant the problem was resolved almost immediately. I highly recommend Eli's for HVAC installation and maintenance.
