I had what I thought were corns on my right big toe. My wife recommended Dr. Deming, who years earlier provided custom orthotic inserts in lieu of surgery for a bunion and she’s been fine every since. Because of the pandemic, he only schedules one patient at a time and has you call from your cell phone when you’re in the parking lot to tell you if the office is clear or how long to wait before coming up. He examined my feet and my sneakers and told me that I don’t have corns, but that I “over pronate” due to my flat feet and, showing me the uneven wear on the heels of my sneakers, explained that my toe is rubbing against the inside of the sneaker, causing pain (and what I thought were corns). He suggested several brands of quality “neutral” sneakers and quality over-the-counter full inserts to combat the over-pronation saying that if they didn’t help he could make me custom orthotics but felt that the much cheaper o-t-c orthotics would work out. He was right. What a great find. I highly recommend Dr. Deming for all you foot issues. He’s a real gem.
