We had APC come for a large project including a demolition and installation of a new direct vent fire place. Dave the owner was onsite getting his hands dirty with most of the work. They were knowledgable and professional through the installation. The point person Stephan was easy to get a hold of and was helpful through the process with any problems. The project took longer than expected (3 weeks) due to problems with a leak in the gas line run (which was completely redone relatively quickly) and delays in the permits. Overall I thought these people were honest, did good work and were reasonable in price. They gave estimates that clearly delineated the costs and were slightly less than other competitors. Be aware for sticker shock though...a demo of an existing fireplace and install of a decent unit will cost you ~$12-14k, but thats the going rate!
