They were the only company able to get out and repair our boiler during a week-long outage in the middle of a cold spell. They came out and literally tossed the manual I provided for our Buderus control unit aside after glancing through it and said it was complicated European nonsense. They asked if they could bypass the control unit to get it working again. I said yes. They hooked up an aquastat to the outgoing line from the indirect about four feet of uninsulated piping away, breaking the feedback loop. When I could finally get another company come and service it to undo what they had done months later in the Spring, they could not believe a licensed HVAC company had done something so basically wrong. The water was found at 170 degrees, which easily could have scalded my family. They wrote down on their service sheet "found in unsafe condition." In the process of bypassing the control unit, a key part was lost, meaning the only way to get it working again in a timely fashion was to order a new one for well over $1,000. I called and politely asked that Cermignano do something to make this right--refund the fees, take back the aquastat they sold me, something. They refused to acknowledge any harm, or take any responsibility. Do not use them.

Bob Cermignano has designed and installed a new AC system for our house, as well as routine maintenance of our AC and steam heat system. The technicians are always nice guys, who are neat and clean. The work is always superior quality.
