Good location. Easy to work. Expensive

I went there for an estimate after a car accident. First they said four days, then it was another week, and the price kept going up. They stopped returning calls. Finally, I got a call from the insurance people saying, "we are totaling your car." I said, "no you're not," and had it towed up to GLS Auto Body in Rockville, where they did the job for half the price Old Towne quoted. Old Towne also "lost" a number of parts...said they "threw out the bumper" because it was completely destroyed--it was not (have the pictures to prove it), and no one throws out a Volvo bumper without salvaging all the parts.

Expensive, but the work is excellent. My car had significant scrapes from a cement pole in garage and from another car rubbing against it. When I got it back, it looked like new. They don't, however, offer a "lesser" grade of service (like painting over scratches without hammering out dents that aren't interfering with the car in any way). They are expensive, but you get what you pay for.
