Based on Consumers' Checkbook ratings, I contacted BSP to repair an ominous crack in a plaster ceiling. Bob was very friendly, informative, and reassuring when I called. As another rater noted, he is now retired from hands-on work, so he sends Sergey to do the actual repairs. Sergey was so prompt and offered such a reasonable price that I didn't get any other estimates. He and his assistant completed the work in three days, and the plastering seems to be well done. However, on the first day they left plastery footprints through my house. They repainted the trim in the room, and the paint didn't match exactly and had to be redone. After they completed the job, I found that they hadn't bothered to clean up the plaster dust behind the furniture in the room, and they dripped plaster on a bedspread (supposedly protected by a dropcloth) which they flipped over to hide the spill.

Amazing workmanship in fixing a ceiling after it had been badly damaged by leaking water. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
