We had a large patio done - about $15K worth, stamped to appear like bluestone pavers. They did excellent work, good ground prep, compaction, etc. and did a good job of protecting plants for the most part. It looks great - great color match with the adjacent bluestone. They did good technique, except for one thing. The poured the concrete at high ambient temperature, 95-100f, said I did not need to keep it moist for curing. It has fine drying cracking on much the surface. After they sealed it, it is not obvious, but the spidering does show when it rains. They say it won't impact long term durability, but it makes me nervous.
