Witek is a nice guy. His price is reasonable and he was referred highly by a friend. I saw the work he did and liked what I saw.
But...
First, no written contract. I assumed that he would bring a contract on the first day, but no. I had already taken off work, so I went ahead and had him start.
Second, he takes only cash (red flag!)
Third, the tile work he did on the bathroom walls was highly sub-par. There were about 5 or 6 tiles that are not flush with the surrounding tiles--corners popping out so much that they create shadows. Also many of the tiles are not aligned properly--some jagged lines.
Fourth, he does not have the proper tools to cut glass tiles--glass tiles that were cut show a jagged paper rip at the back of the glass tile.
Fifth, many of the accessories were re-installed terribly: towel bar, vanity mirror, shelf, light fixture--all installed crookedly.
I will not use him again. I do not recommend.
