Mrs. Kim is creative and amazing to work with. She can do the most complex alterations, and she’s delightful too.

Not great but really the only place around where you can still get clothes made from scratch. If you're hard to fit, it's worth the downsides.

I said I was leaving town (moving) when I arrived for the first time. Weeks later I returned to pick up the promised work. I discovered that she never even started my alterations. In fact, after making persisting in front of other customers (which is out of character), she admitted that the clothes were unfinished or lost. I even went in back and looked since she was very unapologetic and unwilling to leave the front (I can understand that). I spent an hour going through through disorderly piles and piles of clothing. Found a handful of my pieces. But not all. Finally, I asked for reimbursement. She said "no" but when I mentioned only $30 for the missing pieces she grabbed her wallet and handed me cash. I don't like to have to fight to get my clothes back. Ruined an afternoon. And I still don't have my favorite slacks.
