Too hot and too dark and dingy in the premises.

I had a contract for personal trainer sessions at an agreed price. After some months the manager changed and the new manager informed me that I had finished the sessions I had paid for -- when I had used half of the sessions I had paid for. We reviewed the contract and the number of sessions was clear as was the fee I paid. there was discrepancy between what I agreed to pay and what the manager said was the routine price. I stuck to my bottom line: I had a contract that they had to honor whether or not it was for the routine price. The manager said OK but it seemed that my trainer was then not paid for the sessions with me [or my trainer was pressuring me by saying that in support of the manager.] I then had surgery and decided to use that as a reason to leave. No one called to ask why I hadn't been in or made appointments with my trainer. It was a dreadful experience.

The stepchild of the dc metro area Gold's gyms. Small, inadequate facility and poor selection of classes.
