Bridesmaid dress ordered was sewn wrong (zipper was sewn too close and would not go up and down) but Bobbie's did not stand behind quality. Very disappointing.

I chose this shop for a MOB dress because it was the closest shop listed on the website for the brand of dress I wanted. I did order and purchase a dress here but I cannot recommend purchasing formal wear here.The owner and her assistant, Amy, are not friendly and don't appear or behave like they enjoy what they're doing. On my first visit I tried on several dresses and Amy dutifully helped me but she was matter of fact and made no suggestions other than the dresses I picked out. She appeared to care not one way or the other if I bought a dress? After looking elsewhere and deciding on a dress I tried on here I made an appointment and came back to try on and order a dress with some modifications from the sample. Upon entering the shop Bobbie greeted me in a perfunctory manner and told me to try on the sample I wanted- a dress hanging at the cash register. When I explained the dress Amy had written down on my information card was a completely different one, Bobbie argued with me that this was indeed the dress. I walked to the dress I had chosen, and Bobbie decided to look at my information card again. No apology but- oh yes, thie one I held in my hand was the dress. The dress I ordered came in as specified and Bobbie helped me by buttoning it up in the back. She was then done with me and left to go to an appointment. She made no comment about how the dress fit. On all three occasions buckets of water were placed in the store to catch dripping water from the ceiling. The buckets were in different parts of the shop at each visit. The only reason I would shop here again is if I couldn't find the dress I wanted within a 6 hour drive. In other words, this will be my first and final experience with this very unfriendly shop - a shop that's in serious disrepair.
