The sales clerk, who was otherwise helpful, neglected to tell us about one important downside to the GE dryer we bought...namely that there is no easy way for the consumer to clean the inside of the dryer, and instead will have to rely upon a service call from "a qualified technician" at the consumer's own cost.

the store staff and manager are excellent -- going the extra mile to assist but Sears Home Delivery management let the store down. There was a long wait for a delivery slot for a new electric dryer and then home delivery cancelled and rescheduled for several days after that even though we had delivery of a refrigerator scheduled for the day after the cancelled dryer delivery. The store manager could not get Home Delivery to deliver any sooner and so the Store supplied an upgraded dryer from their store and an assistant manager came to my house to deliver. The refrigerator delivered the next day leaked water onto the floor overnight. Home delivery wanted to schedule a technician to come a week later. The store arranged for an exchange the following day. The delivery person who came to do the exchange came in to the house and looked at the leaking refrigerator and identified that a pipe to the water dispenser was not connected properly. So he fixed that and we didn't need to exchange the refrigerator for a new one. He also checked the installation of the dryer -- so he too went the extra mile. The problem service is with the Sears Home delivery management.
