My young daughter took classes at Boyle's Alexandria location. The classes at this location are taught by a group of three to four high school students who appear to have no training on how to work with children, especially young kids. The classes consist of a short warm up followed by about forty-five minutes of drilling on a handful of steps that the students are taught in the first couple of weeks. Apparently this school is geared to train kids for competition. If your child is not interested in going to multiple competitions throughout the year, this is probably not the school for you. If you do decide to go with Boyle you will receive two to three emails a week about their fundraising activities. The school constantly raises money to send their older students to competitions. None of this money is used for anything involving the younger students at the school, so it is really annoying to have to sort through a ton of emails to get to any information that is pertinent to your child. I am sure that Boyle may be a better fit for some people, however going there was not a good experience for my kid.
