JBB had been maintaining my heat pump for about 3 years and had been fine for regular maintenance. However, when a complicated problem involving multiple refrigerant leaks occurred they only found one of three leaks. This resulted in replacing the indoor coil at a cost of $1500 which did not fix the system. This work dragged on over 3 months. When the system failed 2 weeks after the coil was replaced they found another leak (one of two more). At that point they would not answer my calls or voice mail messages over a period of two months. I finally gave up and found another company to replace the entire unit. Since I did not want to replace the system with the same manufacturer (Rheem) I had to trash the $1500 coil. If I had known there were multiple leaks I could have had the system replaced without wasting $1500 on the coil.

Contractor was called for failure of the heat pump he installed two years previously. He came two days after promised. He added refrigerant to the heat pump and left. When we still had no heat in February, we called the answering machine regularly without a response. He finally returned a month later. At which time he checked the condenser for the first time and declared it broken. He ordered the replacement part and said he would return in a week to install it. A month later a different HVAC contractor installed the replacement condenser.
