Eddie speaks a great line in getting you to book initial appointment for "evaluation" which costs $100. He sent Sheldon who was nice but didn't seem professional, baggy jeans, no notebook, tools, invoice,etc. just his eyeballs. Sheldon peeked in the attic after we suggest he look at the attic space and peeked at the cable lines coming in from the exterior of the house and he was done. Sheldon stepped outside immediately after "reviewing" the property and Eddie immediately started calling demanding $100. Eddie refused to give written estimate of work description and Sheldon of course did not have any type of invoice paperwork, note pad etc with him to write on at the time of the appointment and drove away. Eddie then Invoiced via paypal stating that $50 would be credited upon scheduling and completion of job, which he still refused to provide a written estimate for. We paid the $100. Scheduled the work for this morning at 0930 and no one showed up. Called Eddie he now states he doesn't have the cables, not sure when they will come in, can't get anyone here and "oh by the way the price has gone up $200". Had I dug deeper than checkbook I would have found negative reviews on Scambook.com AND Rip off Report. Do NOT waste your time or money with Eddie Starbird, Starbird Customs. He will not follow through and uses the "evaluation" to make $100 in 10 minutes.
