Battlefield Ford Quick Lane pushed expensive service and repairs based on very aggressive "Battlefield Ford created" (60,000 thousand vs.100,000 miles in the Ford Owner's Manual) mileage intervals. Since I am not aware that Battlefield Ford has an engineering or vehicle testing lab to establish or even justify these more aggressive service intervals, I assume they must come from the sales and accounting departments and are much more aggressive and profitable than the "Ford Owner's Manual" recommends. Battlefield Quick Lane only justification was "well Ford only recommends the minimum amount of required service" in their Ford owner's manual. I only wanted an oil change and Virginia State Inspection, so be careful and watch out. Note my vehicle passed both the Virginia safety and emission controls tests with no issues or repairs required.
