Pablo and his crew were amazing. We moved into a home (with eyes wide open) that had a leaky crawlspace. Instead of spending tens of thousands on a basement waterproofing solution, we worked with Newborg as a first action to clear up some drainage issues in the yard. Pablo's team were on-site for a week and regraded one side of our home, burying new PVC drainage pipes connected to the sump and gutters in the same action. For every major rainstorm since Newborg completed their work, I've gone into the crawlspace and seen no standing water on our vapor barriers. Cannot recommend this team enough as a first consultation when dealing with water incursions.

Newborg has not yet done the work. They were to start today but have not shown up, have not contacted me or responded to my calls. I contacted them because they got good reviews on my neighborhood list serve. My problem is water runoff/erosion. The first solution offered would have provided a useful escape step over the fence for my dogs which I had pointed out before it was offered. We finally signed a contract in early April and then I heard nothing from them. When my check for the down payment was cashed, I called them and found out they had scheduled a date for the work without consulting me. The date was bad. I want to be home for a variety of reasons. They explained the start may be delayed due to weather which I understand and I explained that I have meetings with clients that may be difficult or impossible to reschedule so they need to communicate changes in dates of work. They said they understood. I have heard nothing. Work was to start today but no one is here. Company does not answer its phone and they have not returned my calls or email. I took off work. I don't know whether I can leave. I don't know when work will start. I don't know whether I have to reschedule client meetings for next week. I explained all this in phone messages and email but still no response. This is the absolute worst communications from any contractor I have dealt with and I have done several major renovations and many minor projects. If I could cancel this contract without penalty I would. Very disrespectful of customers.

We have used Newborg Drainage & Landscaping multiple times over many years. Steve Newborg is honest, as is his crew. We have always been very impressed by their work. We had problems with standing water in the yard. They regraded and put drainage pipes in, then landscaped and put in a retaining wall, walkway and patio. All turned out beautifully!!
