Ed and his crews did a great job on my split level roof, and all in 1 day. I wanted the entire upper roof taken off down to the rafters, due to old issues with the plywood there. He brought 2 crews to make sure it was all done within a day. They were extremely neat, leaving nothing left on the ground (including nails) and the roof looks great. Their pricing was very reasonable. Can't say enough about the nice job they did.

We've just had our roof replaced by Atlas Roofing and are very pleased with the results. Ed (the owner) came out to do the estimate. He was on time and very pleasant. We spoke briefly and then he went up on the roof to measure and evaluate. There was no lengthy sales pitch with some high-pressure "If you sign now, we'll take X amount off the price" like another company who gave us an estimate. Ed was very familiar with the homes in our neighborhood, approximately when they were built, and what materials were used. He explained that he has two crews, but that he's very hands-on and checks in on each of his work sites often. His crews have worked with him for years and years, and know how he wants the work to be done. Ed emailed us his estimate, which we also then received in the mail soon thereafter. He included copies of his insurance, etc., and his estimate. Ed's price was right near another estimate we got, for the same line of shingles. We just had a good feeling about Atlas, though, and are very pleased with the roof we got. Ed included in his estimate a spreadsheet of their recent jobs, addresses, and which color shingles they put on, which was very helpful in choosing which color shingles to put on. It's hard to tell from the little swatches in the glossy brochure, and after touring some of their recent jobs, we actually elected a different color than the one we had picked from the brochure. It looks great on our house. Ed communicated very politely with us to schedule the job. All he asked was that we have our driveway clear the day before the job when the materials were being delivered. His crew showed up on time early the day of the job (as he said they would), and they got right to work at 7:30am. He actually had both his crews at our house that morning, and they were done by noon. They had laid tarps down on the ground all around the house, and cleaned up. Ed came by to inspect their work and patrolled with a metal detector to make sure any nails, etc. had been cleaned up (they had). Other companies had basically told us they were going to tear off the gutter guards I had installed. Ed's estimate said they would replace them properly with the correct shingle overlap, and that's just what they did. Another company had told me we would have to replace all the wood sheathing. Ed said we only needed to replace one sheet. I feel like we got great work done for a fair price. The shingles they used weren't the highest rated on ConsumerReports, but in my experience, proper installation is more important than the finest materials anyway.

Atlas Roofing did an excellent job for us at an affordable price. They were always thorough, timely, and informative. Highly recommended. Though Atlas was best able to meet our needs, I would not hesitate to recommend the two other companies we looked at: Smith Roofing and Pond Roofing. Depending on your requirements, any of these three companies will do a great job for you.
