Our furnace (Carrier) is a lemon. Cannot recommend them for sales. Repair staff is good, though.

Needed new igniter on our gas boiler when we returned from out of town without working heat. He came the next day and replaced the part after going a ways to buy replacement. I'd call them again.

This is the "superior customer service" and"top of the line heating and cooling installation and maintenance" (all taken directly from their website) that I received from Argent Heating & Cooling: On 1/21/21 a new Carrier HV unit was installed at the cost of $4491.00. On 3/5/21 water was leaking through the D. R. ceiling. A service call at the cost of $75.00 remedied the leak. When I threatened not to pay for the service call, the technician/employee of the company said, "We have your credit card at the office," indicating they would use my number which was on file. -- Numerous calls to the Service Manager to discuss the damaged ceiling were never returned. A Registered Letter to the CEO was returned "UNCLAIMED' by the U. S. Post Office. Finally in desperation a Warrant in Debt was filed in Fairfax County Small Claims Court. It took four efforts before 'service' was successful because of 'no shows' by Argent's representative. Finally the case was heard in Court. -- Argent's defense by an officer/employee: "It's an 'OLD HOUSE" and "OLD HOUSES GET CLOGGED DRAINS". The FACTS: The 'OLD HOUSE' is a 40 year old Townhouse in prime condition. The "CLOGGED DRAIN" is a plastic drain line connected to the HV unit. You decide the accuracy of their testimony. -- This is the treatment of a customer of 11 years. What kind of service might a new customer or one of few years anticipate? -- UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN I RECOMMEND ARGENT HEATING & COOLING, LLC.-- The stress placed on this senior citizen was horrendous!
