This lender (WEI) was phenomenal! I found them through Zillow, and originally spoke with them regarding a type of loan that they didn't offer. But, even though they weren't going to be able to do business with me, Kevin spent time educating me about the process, what the offerings were, things to look out for, etc. Well, it turned out a week or so later that we decided to go with a type of loan that they do offer, and I made sure to call them back based on that first interaction. They continued to be great. Both Kevin and Chris were extremely responsive throughout (including being available almost around the clock--it seemed like they didn't sleep!). They also had great rates, offered additional discounts, etc. They also were always on top of things. Everything was very organized. We heard that closing was always a mad scramble at the end because you won't find out exactly how much the final closing amount comes out to until the end. Well, we knew a week early--it was so early that the titling company was caught by surprise at how quick and organized these guys were. It's refreshing to do business with people and a company that value relationships, long-term working together, organization, and honesty. My wife and I have had a wonderful experience with WEI--and we strongly recommend them to anyone else (from first time home buyers like us to seasoned real estate veterans).
