I have been a mortgage loan officer in the Puget Sound area for 23 years and have done business with most or all of the region's major title and escrow companies. WFG has delivered the best and most economical escrow service -- not now and then, but CONSISTENTLY over many years. WFG was one of the first title companies to include mobile document signing at the borrower's home or office at no extra charge, even on nights and weekends. WFG was one of the first to eliminate junk fees and charge one single fee plus tax for all the services needed in the typical purchase or refinance transaction. Some years ago, when competitors were vying for referrals by offering price-fattening illegal gifts and inducements to loan officers, WFG was outperforming them with better, faster service at lower prices. WFG's escrow personnel are true professionals who maintain their tact and stay calm even when faced with seemingly impossible deadlines and unreasonable demands from real estate agents. Service this consistent is an unmistakable sign of excellent long-term management.

Everybody was very polite. But they put off everything until the last minute, and missed a couple of things. They were easy enough to fix, but still stuff we could have avoided if we had the paperwork ahead of time.

They also sent us somebody else's paperwork.

Maybe they were just really busy; but I've had nothing but good experiences with other places, so I am afraid I can't recommend this one.
