I called this company to replace the metal chasers on my two chimneys and they showed pretty promptly to take measurements with promise to call back shortly with the cost estimate of the work after they talked to their sheet metal fabricator. I found them pretty professional up to that point. However, that was the last thing I heard from them. My repeated calls reached a voice recorder and that was it. In the meantime I lost precious time to fix my leaky chimney, just at the worst of the rainy season. I wonder if they are even in business anymore.
Based on this experience I would not recommend the company to anybody.

Al was able to give a quote over the phone, and that amount was indeed the exact charged for the work. It was converting our gas fireplace back to the original wood burning mode (on old masonry chimney), and a thorough fireplace/chimney inspection. They were clean about their work, laying a large blanket down, and vacuuming up in the fireplace and work area. Al also quoted a very reasonable rate for installing a wood stove insert should we ever decide to go that route in the future, but was very honest about saying that normally he recommends the retailer you buy the stove from also do the install. I think Al operates Fire Safe with integrity, does good on-time work, and at a very reasonable rate. My review of Al and Fire Safe is 100% positive, and I don't give those very often (I tend to be a pretty conservative/stingy grader).

I needed the chimney replaced due to chimney fire. I had been quoted $2000 to replace stovepipe, chimney, top. This company said all I needed to replace was the chimney because that was all that was damaged. It cost $800. This was for a woodstove.
