Definitely the place for jewelry repair. Engagement ring, worn by fanatical gardener, half the prongs worn away, stone, (miraculously), still in place, but at an odd angle. Do I need a new ring? Carlson - ring not that worn just the setting; we could replace the setting. Do you have steel so I won't be back soon? Carlson - no, but platinum is much harder and we can get a setting with more prongs. Done. Beautiful work, spouse happy, one less 'thing' to worry about.
