Almost immediately after returning the signed agreement, we received emails and a phone call demanding a payment in advance, contrary to the agreement we had just signed. I pointed out that the proposal specified C.O.D., but they said "their policy had changed." I guess it must have changed during the preceding 2 hours since they signed their proposal.
We fired them.
