I work with JR at CUSO, which is the advisor service at Patelco Credit Union. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably go with a fee for service advisor, because I don't believe I have always been matched to the best products. However, I am basically satisfied and I have been working with him for 10 years now. He most recently solved a situation where I have an annuity maturing and he found an answer that other advisors missed. Always look for typos in his documents! These are important legal docs and you want them to be accurate.

He works for Patelco Credit Union in Danville, CA. He pushes annuities and then is not clear about RMDs, wont answer phone calls and has a condescending assistant.
