He was late with plans, literally drawing them up as work was being performed. He failed at overseeing the execution, even though he was charging us hourly to be on site for supervision. When things began to go more and more wrong, he began obsessively harassing us with many emails a day, some belligerent and filled with insults. We ultimately had to demand that he limit his email correspondence in response while we tried (so far unsuccessfully) to negotiate a resolution. Steer clear.
