Did some routine maintenance (oil/, transmission). But I had asked if he could help with a problem on my Buick Enclave running board. Buick dealer had installed that after I took delivery on the car in 2008/2009. The right side rear attachment had become bent and detached recently somehow and was dngerous because it might not support weight. Buick said i WOULD HAVE TO ORDER A FULL STE(BOTH SIDES YET) AS THERE WERE NO REPLACEMENT PARTS. tHE ORIGINAL COST WAS $800+ INCLUDING INSTALLATION. jUST THE PARTS WOULD BE $550 AND NOW i WOULD HAVE LABOR FOR REMOVING THE OLD AND INSTALLING A NEW. tHE GUY AT bRUCE (gARY) SAID HE COULD FASHION A REPAIR AND DID SO FOR $80. cREATIVE AND ECONOMICAL. nICE TO HAVE SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT ALWAYS NEED A BOOK TO MAKE A CAR REPAIR. HATS OFF!!
