I came to this office with a torn achilles tendon. They x-rayed it and performed an ultrasound. Gave me a boot to wear and said it should get better in six to eight weeks. Going back every couple of weeks for another ultrasound when I could still feel it was a waste of time. To be told you're almost there, and then to switch back to a shoe and do stretches. It never healed fully and I didn't bother going back. It seemed like something more should have been done or other options offered. I figured if I went back, it would be more of the same, wear the boot, yadda yadda. Frustrating.
