We had a mold problem in our unfinished basement, smelly and causing breathing problems. This company came and did a lot of measuring, photographing, and annotating, without anything to show for it. They completely missed obvious mold growing on the ceiling joists. They identified several upstairs areas on the ceiling where they said mold was growing, but it turned out to be some puddled paint. For that, they said they needed to have it tested for asbestos, at extra cost, before they would do any mold sampling and testing, though they didn't tell us before we paid for their services that they might have to take that step first. They used thermal imaging to photograph the outside of the house, capturing only the shadows of trees, with branches visible, but calling that evidence of moisture problems. It was only cooler because the trees were shading the siding at that time of day. Overall, they were a very expensive waste of time. We subsequently hired the highly qualified RTS Environmental Services, who debunked all this nonsense and did an excellent job remediating the crawl space and those moldy joists.
