Lou Maschio and his entire team at Air-Guard were terrific every step of the way. I wanted more done than simply replacing my old windows and the back door in my 100+ year old house and was looking for someone with window expertise who would do the other work as well. For the second floor front bedroom I needed the wall opened to fit a pair of windows where there had only been a single window, in the bathroom I had a glass-block window from the 1950s that did nothing but radiate the outside cold into the room during the winter that needed to go. I also wanted holes cut in the upper part of a family room wall and a living room wall for thru-the-wall air conditioners. They did all of these things, which other installers weren’t interested in, including resetting the vinyl siding around the holes that had to expanded or cut away, to look as if it had never been touched. I also had them side the back of the house, which the previous owner ignored since it had no curb appeal, they also replaced my gutters for me. For the cladding around the windows, including three that had been replaced earlier by someone else, I had a wide choice of colors and chose an aluminum that had an embossed grain pattern which they bent with a multi-level profile that makes it look like wood trim. After four years, I’m still very pleased with their work. If you want good quality replacement windows and even more done very professionally, I’d highly recommend Lou and his team.
