Used Miller Landscaping to mulch and edge all beds. Also asked them to lop off about two feet from the top of a very large double-row holly hedge, round it off a bit and trim a just a little from the front. This beautiful 20 year old hedge stretched the entire width of the house and hid the air conditioner, meters, and various pipes, etc. on the side of the house. Paid them in full in advance. Joseph instructed his men (who had little English) and left for the day assuring me that if I was dissatisfied with the work for any reason to call him. They did a good job on the mulching and edging. When I next saw the hedge, it was decimated. I was left with the front row of severely trimmed branches and the back row (6-7 huge holly stumps, each about 8 feet tall) completely shorn of every branch and leaf. It will be a dozen years, if ever, before these stumps grow a single branch or leaf. Now you can see right through what’s left of the hedge to the air conditioning unit and all the other ugly equipment. I called them and left a message that I was not happy with the hedge, described the problem and asked for a call. Waited a week with no response and called again, reminding them that they told me to call if I was dissatisfied. No response after three weeks. It is bad enough that they ruined my beautiful hedge, but to ignore my calls is cowardly and unconscionable. Use them for this kind of work at your own risk.
