There’s one word to describe the work of Pooltek and Sandro Matamoros: “splendid.” When our condo complex needed to demolish and replace our brick walkway and four stairways, I contacted 18 contractors in the DC area. The proposal from Sandro (who has his own Maryland-based business but served as Pooltek’s foreman on this job) was easily the most competent and thorough. Jeff Kessler at Pooltek is also amazing. He handled the business side with total integrity and professionalism. Both Sandro and Jeff suggested changes that made the new walkway and stairways more durable and attractive, and actually saved our condo association some money. Our board and homeowners couldn’t be more delighted with the outcome. A suggestion: don’t be misled by the company name “Pooltek.” They do swimming pools, but as we can attest, they also do other jobs exceptionally well. Highest possible recommendation.
